Project Type: Study
Project Description:
The purpose of the Metro Area Drainage Master Plan (ADMP) was to identify the flooding problems, flooding sources, and flooding hazards in the Metro Phoenix Study Area and identify alternatives to mitigate the identified concerns. The Metro ADMP study area is bounded by the Arizona Canal Diversion Channel (ACDC) on the north, I-17 on the west, the Salt River on the south, and the ridgeline in the Papago Buttes on the east bound the study area. In the area between 44th Street and 60th Street, the study area extends north of the Arizona Canal up to the ridgeline in Camelback Mountain. The total area encompasses about 100 square miles.
