Project Description:

The San Tan West Area Drainage Master Plan (ADMP) is underway to develop and recommend strategies to reduce flood hazards and protect public safety in a study area located within the Town of Gilbert, Town of Queen Creek, Pinal County, Gila River Indian Community, and unincorporated Maricopa County.  The plan will update and refine the findings of the San Tan West Area Drainage Master Study Update (ADMSU) that was completed in 2018.  This ADMP will use updated mapping that captures recent land use changes to better identify the extent of drainage and flooding problems in the project area.  The Towns, County, GRIC, and Flood Control District will use the results of the drainage and flooding problem identification to refine the existing proposed regional solutions and identify new solutions to better define and budget future drainage improvement projects.
