Project Type: Construction
Project Description:
Originally constructed in 2013, the White Tanks No. 3 Outfall Channel conveys stormwater from the White Tanks Flood Retarding Structure to the downstream structure. It runs parallel to Jackrabbit Trail corridor playing an integral part of an important West Valley flood control system.
The project provides a safe and reliable access road to the outfall channel for District operations and maintenance activities. With future intentions to widen Jackrabbit Trail, the existing access road will soon be restricted. The new 16-foot wide access road will run approximately one-half mile long from Indian School Road to Osborn Road.
